Update - Hot Water VEECs
We’re excited to share that Formbay is expanding its Water Heating VEEC capabilities — continuing to broaden the ways we support retailers managing energy efficiency certificates through our platform.
This expansion allows retailers to begin managing VEEC Water Heating submissions within Formbay without unnecessary duplication, building on our existing capabilities across STCs and additional activity types.
Early Access Program
As part of this expansion, VEEC Water Heating support will be introduced through an Early Access program for our retailers with a full rollout across the next 30 days.
This initial group of retailers will:
- Be among the first to access Water Heating VEEC workflows on the Formbay platform
- Work closely with our team to help shape and refine the service as it scales
- Benefit from streamlined processes, improved visibility, and reduced manual handling
Feedback from our initial retailers will directly inform how the service evolves ahead of broader availability.

What’s Next
This release forms part of our broader roadmap to expand VEEC coverage across more activity types, including Solar for VEECs and air conditioning. We’re also progressing work to support ESCs, which will follow as the next stage of our certificate offering.
