Hot Water VEECs

Update - Hot Water VEECs

We’re excited to share that Formbay is expanding its Water Heating VEEC capabilities — continuing to broaden the ways we support retailers managing energy efficiency certificates through our platform.

This expansion allows retailers to begin managing VEEC Water Heating submissions within Formbay without unnecessary duplication, building on our existing capabilities across STCs and additional activity types.

How to Enrol in VEECs for Water Heating Activities

Formbay supports Solar Water Heating (SWH) and heat pump installations under the Victorian Energy Upgrades (VEU) program, allowing you to create and claim Victorian Energy Efficiency Certificates (VEECs).

As an Accredited Person, Formbay manages the creation, registration, and trading of VEECs on your behalf - helping ensure compliance, reduce administrative burden, and streamline the process from installation through to certificate generation.

What’s Next

This release forms part of our broader roadmap to expand VEEC coverage across more activity types, including Solar for VEECs and air conditioning. We’re also progressing work to support ESCs, which will follow as the next stage of our certificate offering.

We’ll continue to share updates as new capabilities become available.
